What Is DigitalMediaDC?
Quite simply, DigitalMediaDC
is DC's largest digital media training conference. Training
sessions are led by experts with manufacturer certification,
extensive teaching skill and an intimate knowledge of their
software discipline obtained through years of practical application.
DigitalMediaDC (DMDC) trainers are working video and film
editors, DVD authors, animators, digital illustrators, web
site designers and consultants who regularly develop new media
for a variety of industries. The ability of our trainers to
relate their real-life work experience to the class lessons
makes each session at DMDC an ideal learning situation.
Sessions will primarily explore
the latest post-production software and techniques, including
After Effects, Avid, Video Production, Audio for Video, Encoding,
Motion, Business, Flash, Final Cut Studio, Premiere Pro, Photoshop
for Non-Linear Editors, and many more!
"The successful partnership forged between
Videography magazine and Future Media Concepts will
offer this year's DigitalMediaDC attendees the most well-rounded
and informative experience in the event's seven-year history,"
says Linda Cohen, Director of GV Expo 2005. "Because
DMDC will again be running in conjunction with GVExpo, attendees
will see first-hand the latest products impacting the TV,
video, and multimedia industries. Through the training sessions
offered at DMDC, they will possess the opportunity to learn
how to best incorporate and maximize this technology in their
respective crafts."
“Our goal at the DigitalMediaDC conference
is to provide attendees with advanced techniques for production
and post-production that they can apply to their next project,”
says Ben Kozuch, Digital Media DC Conference Chair and President
of Future Media Concepts. “We have gathered an impressive
team of Manufacturer-Certified Instructors and industry gurus
— many of whom have published technical training books
and CDs. DigitalMediaDC is an ideal place to network with
other professionals in your field and to walk away with new
leads and contacts. DigitalMediaDC 2005 features completely
new sessions to reflect the latest software and trends, and
we are looking forward to meeting many of last year’s
attendees again!”
